Two-Alarm Fire Burns Washington Gas Building In North Bethesda

LANHAM, Md. (CBSDC) — A two-alarm blaze ripped through a Washington Gas facility in North Bethesda early Wednesday morning.

Large flames and heavy smoke could be seen pouring from a garage bay area of the facility, located in the 11800 block of Nebel Street.

The fire began around 6 a.m. and was contained within two hours. No injuries were reported in the blaze.

Fire officials are working to determine the cause of the fire.

The building is used as a storage facility for company trucks.
