LANHAM, Md. (CBSDC) — Beginning Saturday and lasting through Monday, there is a chance snow will fall in the Washington area, but the impacts of each of the weather systems should be minimal.
WUSA9 meteorologist Howard Bernstein says a front will bring a few flurries and light snow to the region on Saturday with accumulations ranging from a dusting to a half-inch. Temperatures should hover just above freezing with a high around 35.
“It’s no big deal,” he said.
There is a chance of a rain and snow mix on Sunday with temperatures topping out around 39.
“We could have some minor issues this weekend,” said Bernstein.
Bernstein is also not ruling out the possibility of a few flurries on Monday.
