Employee Stabs Supervisor After Being Confronted About Attendance

LANHAM, Md. (CBSDC) — A Prince George’s County man is facing charges for allegedly attacking his supervisor with a knife while on the job.

Robert Pandohie, Jr. stabbed his boss multiple times after being confronted about his attendance at work around 5:15 p.m. Thursday, police say. The two men work together on a maintenance crew at an apartment complex in the 9500 block of Muirkirk Road in Laurel, police say.

The supervisor suffered numerous stab wounds and cuts before he was able to wrestle a knife away from Pandohie, according to authorities. The injuries are considered non-life threatening.

Pandohie has been charged with first and second degree assault, police say.

He remains in custody at the Prince George’s County Detention Center. A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for March 4, according to online court records.
