12 Injured in Metro Bus Accident in D.C.

LANHAM, Md. (CBSDC) — A Metro bus accident involving a minivan has left 12 riders injured in Southeast Washington Thursday night.
D.C. Police say the W9 bus was traveling in the 3300 block of Martin Luther King, Jr. Avenue near Upsal Street when a minivan ran into the back of the bus just after 6 p.m.
Twelve riders sustained non-life threatening injuries, according to police.
D.C. Fire and EMS are working to evaluate passengers in the minivan.
