WASHINGTON (CBSDC) - Signaled by a multi-year agreement, the Washington Nationals and Levy Restaurants have extended their partnership and ongoing commitment to welcome and wow Nats fans with an unforgettable game day experience at Nationals Park. Levy has been the exclusive restaurant partner at the ballpark since 2009.

“For the last five years, our collaboration with Levy Restaurants has resulted in a diverse selection of fantastic food options and outstanding hospitality,” said Alan H. Gottlieb, Lerner Sports Chief Operating Officer. “The availability of high quality food choices is essential to our guests, and Levy’s creativity and passion have helped create an unparalleled fan experience at Nationals Park. We look forward to continuing our partnership for seasons to come.”

“The Nationals share our vision for creating an evolving, one-of-a-kind experience for fans,” said Andy Lansing, President and CEO of Levy Restaurants. “Chef-driven with an analytics-based approach, we push ourselves to innovate every aspect of the game day, from the ingredients we source, to the dishes they inspire and how we leverage technology to create a dynamic, high-touch experience for fans with.”

With a commitment to regional business and sourcing the best ingredients available, the agreement will expand the ballpark’s Farm-to-Table program and introduce new collaborations with local restaurants and farmers to bring fresh meat, poultry and vegetables to guests throughout Nationals Park. Fan favorite spot, District Drafts, will have two new locations – creating a total of four locations around the park – and feature local taps from DC Brau, 3 Stars Brewing Company, Port City Brewing Company and more.

Broadening the range of flavor options, the Nationals and Levy Restaurants will introduce a variety of delicious new items, including hand rolled sushi, stir-fry to order noodles, house made jumbo lump crab cakes and new vegetarian and gluten-free options, like fresh salads, sandwiches, veggie burritos and more.

Leveraging a season-long study of fan behaviors, Levy and the Nationals targeted many stands around the park for redesign, adding points of service to get fans in and out of lines and back to the action quickly through faster purchase times and optimized event day flow. Fans will also enjoy new digital menu boards introduced throughout the ballpark for enhanced service and real-time information on offerings, promotions and more.
