All Lanes of I-95 in Va. Cleared After Fatal Morning Crash

LANHAM, Md. (CBSDC) — All lanes of southbound I-95 in Virginia have been reopened following a fatal crash that occurred at 11:15 a.m. Friday.
The accident was near near exit 152 in Prince William County.
Police say a Nissan Versa was headed south when it ran off the left side of the road and struck the jersey wall. The impact caused the Versa to become airborn, overturn and land on a Honda Civic that was also headed south.
The driver of the Civic, 37-year-old Matthew Wilkerson of Fredericksburg, Va., died at the scene.
The male adult driver and adult female passenger in the Versa were flown to Inova Fairfax Hospital to be treated for life-threatening injuries.
