RICHMOND, Va. (CBS DC) – Three men have been arrested in connection with a pair of armed robberies that targeted women driving home from the strip club where they worked, reports WTVR-TV

One of the robbery victims, a mother of two who declined to give her name, tells the station she was stopped at a red light in Henrico when two men forced her out of her SUV.

“They pulled out a gun, and told me to get out of the car and lie on the ground.  They stole my purse and phone and quickly went away,” she said.

Two weeks later another woman who worked at the same club was getting out of her car in front of her home when she was confronted by two armed men.

Also a mother of two, she also didn’t want to give her name, “I was scared to death,” she said. “I ducked down and thought I was going to get shot.”

She said the men took her purse and wanted to take her  into the home to get more money.

The woman persuaded the men not to go inside. “I said, ‘there’s no money in the house, just sleeping kids.”

The men drove away and she called 911.

Police in Chesterfield quickly found the suspects vehicle and followed it for about three miles before pulling it over.

The suspects in the car were counting cash and had stolen phones and a victim’s purse.

All three were arrested and  are charged with two counts of robbery and one count of using a firearm in the commission of a felony.
