ELLICOTT CITY, Md. (CBSDC/AP) — Howard County police have located an 84-year-old man who got lost returning from a delivery run during Tuesday’s snowstorm.
Police say Seyed Ghozati was found safe and unharmed in his vehicle Wednesday morning at Susquehanna State Park in Harford County.
Police say a relative last saw Ghozati just after noon Tuesday when he left his Columbia home to make a delivery in Ellicott City for a courier service he works for.
As Ghozati tried to return home, police say he got lost and contacted his boss several times asking for directions home. He last made contact around 12:15 a.m. Wednesday, saying he was on Route 175 near Route 3 in Anne Arundel County.
Police were concerned about Ghozati’s welfare because of the weather.
