WASHINGTON (CBS DC/AP) — Did Katy Perry help President Barack Obama get re-elected?

In a recent interview with GQ, the pop superstar believes she helped Obama win a crucial state on his way to re-election.

“I might have won Wisconsin for him,” Perry told GQ. “Actually, I didn’t do too much, but he called on me a couple of times. Which was very nice.”

She also told the magazine that she might ask the president about the existence of aliens.

“I look up into the stars and I imagine: How self-important are we to think that we are the only life-form? I mean, if my relationship with Obama gets any better, I’m going to ask him that question,” she said. “It just hasn’t been appropriate yet.”

Perry is scheduled to perform at the Grammy’s on Sunday.

The Grammys will air live on CBS from the Staples Center.
