WASHINGTON (CBSCDC) – Anyone can break news on Twitter, even former Cowboys head coach Wade Phillips, who tweeted his son has been hired to coach the Redskins tight ends on Friday.

While the information has yet to be confirmed by the team, Wes Phillips has interviewed for the position, Mike Jones of the Washington Post reports.

If true, Phillips will replace Sean McVay, who was promoted to offensive coordinator by the Redskins.
