2 Brothers Arrested After Columbia Bank Is Robbed

COLUMBIA, Md. — Howard County police have arrested two brothers after a Columbia bank was robbed at gunpoint.
Police say a man was a handgun walked into the PNC Bank on Little Patuxent Parkway about 9:50 a.m. Saturday. Officers say the man demanded money and an employee gave him cash.
Authorities say the man fled. Police say a second man acted as a lookout and the two escaped in a stolen car.
Police arrested two men in a nearby wooded area about half an hour later.
Twenty-three-year-old Calvin Abney of Oxon Hill and 28-year-old Richard Abney of Capitol Heights have been charged with armed robbery and numerous other offenses.
