Person Hurt by Chemical, Mechanical Reaction in Glen Burnie
GLEN BURNIE, Md. — The Anne Arundel County Fire Department says authorities are investigating the possible construction of destructive devices after a person was hurt by a chemical or mechanical reaction.
Division Chief Keith Swindle says a person was taken to a local hospital Wednesday night. He said fire officials, county police and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives are investigating what happened at the Glen Burnie home.
Two people are being questioned, authorities say.
Swindle says the scene is secured and under control and there is no threat to residents.
