LANHAM, Md. (CBSDC) — A 17-year-old girl is missing and Montgomery County police are asking for the public’s help in locating her.

Detectives describe Abigail Leann Strickland as white, 5-foot-4 and weighing about 145 pounds. She has dark blond hair, blue eyes and wears dark-rimmed glasses. She was last seen wearing a black University of Maryland hoodie, red jeans, black knee-high boots and was carrying rollerblades.

Abigail was last seen on Dec. 30 at 12 p.m. in the 18500 block of Kingshill Road in Germantown. Police and family members are concerned because she has been diagnosed with a personality disorder which requires medication.

Anyone who has information regarding the girl’s whereabouts is asked to call the Montgomery County police non-emergency number, 301-279-8000.
