WASHINGTON — District of Columbia transportation officials will be closing single lanes of Connecticut Avenue for a bridge inspection.

The D.C. Department of Transportation announced the lane closures will be conducted Monday during off-peak hours from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the busy commuter route in the Woodley Park area.

Engineers will be inspecting the bridge over Rock Creek Parkway. The right lane of southbound Connecticut Avenue will be closed first, followed by the northbound right lane of the road.
