WASHINGTON (CBSDC) – The Washington Wizards will hold a pregame ceremony with Swati and Zaziwe Mandela, granddaughters to the late Nelson Mandela, prior to tipoff against the Pistons Saturday night at the Verizon Center.

The team announced that Swati and Zaziwe will be joined on the court by D.C. Mayor Vincent Gray and Ted Leonsis, and will present both teams with limited edition Mandela Bangles.

A bangle is an ornamental bracelet, according to Merriam-Webster.

Proceeds from the Mandela Bangles help continue funding for the Mandela Day Schools Library campaign, which directly influences the lives of those most affected by poverty, inequality and HIV/AIDS.
