LANDOVER, Md. (CBSDC) — The Washington Redskins are investigating an incident involving a fan and a security guard that occurred in the upper reaches of FedEx Field at some point during the team’s loss to the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday.

A video posted to the social media website Vine appears to show a Redskins fan, who was wearing a “Dallas Sucks” t-shirt along with a gold Redskins hat, being tossed down concrete steps by a security guard.

The security guard appears to grab the fan by the arm shortly before the fan lunged forward and toppled down the steps in the clip.

It is not known whether alcohol was a factor in the incident.

“We are aware of the incident,” Redskins Senior Vice President Tony Wyllie said. “It is under review and being investigated.”

The events leading up to the altercation are unclear. It is unknown whether the fan was injured in the fall.
