ATLANTA — Robert Griffin III is on the Washington Redskins inactive list for Sunday’s game against the Atlanta Falcons.

It is the first of three games he will sit out as the Redskins complete a disappointing season.

Also inactive for the Redskins is rookie tight end Jordan Reed who was downgraded to out on the injury report Saturday. Reed continues to recover from a concussion suffered four weeks ago against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Safety Bacarri Rambo, who previously played at the University of Georgia, will also sit out a pseudo-homecoming.

Cornerback Chase Mnnifield, linebacker Brandon Jenkins and Darryl Tapp, and offensive lineman Josh LeRibeus round out the Redskins list of inactive players.

Safety Thomas DeCoud, running back Antone Smith, linebacker Omar Gaither, tackles Terren Jones, Sean Locklear and Travian Robertson, and tight end Chase Coffman are inactive for the Falcons.

Of note: Chris Baker is expected to start in place of Kedric Golston at right defensive end for the Redskins. Zeke Motta will start at safety in place of Thomas DeCoud for the Falcons.
