WASHINGTON — Metro says it’s canceling planned track work that would have closed the Greenbelt station on the green line this weekend.
Metro had planned to close the station on Saturday and Sunday.
Metro will still be doing work on the blue, orange and red lines that will cause delays.
Metro says trains on those lines will operate every 20 minutes beginning on Friday at 10 p.m. and continuing through the weekend. Between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m., there will be additional red line trains between Grosvenor and Silver Spring, leading to trains every 10 minutes.
