Man Arrested For 3 PNC Bank Robberies

ROCKVILLE, Md. (CBSDC/AP) — Montgomery County police say a man suspected of committing bank robberies at two banks has been arrested after a bank robbery in Washington.
Police say Leonard Forrest, 47, of the 11300 block of Schuylkill Road in Rockville was arrested Dec. 6 after committing another bank robbery of a PNC Bank in D.C.
Montgomery County police searched his home and say officers found items linking him to the PNC bank robberies in the county.
An arrest warrant was obtained charging Forrest with robbing PNC branches in Rockville and Bethesda on Dec. 2 and Dec. 4. He is currently being held by police in Washington.
Police say the arrest warrant will be served upon Forrest’s return to Montgomery County.
