Police Investigating Fatal Shooting in Northwest

WASHINGTON (CBSDC) – D.C. Police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred in Northwest early Saturday morning.

Police responded to a shooting in the 200 block of Bates Street around 12:10 a.m., to find 32-year-old Lamont William Hall of Southeast suffering from an apparent gunshot wound upon arrival.

Hall was ruled dead on the scene by D.C. Fire and EMS.

Police have not identified any suspects.

Metro police offers a reward of $25,000 to anyone that provides information which leads to the arrest and conviction of the person wanted for any homicide in the District. Anyone with information can call (202) 727-9099.
