ASHBURN, Va. (CBSDC) — The Washington Redskins (3-9) host the Kansas City Chiefs (9-3) on Sunday in a battle of two teams that have collectively lost their past seven games.

The Chiefs, losers of three straight, are favored by a field goal to push Washington’s losing streak to five and can clinch a playoff berth with a win and outside help.

On the other side of the equation, the Redskins, who are assured of having a losing record this season, can delay Kansas City’s celebration and play spoiler while also playing for pride and their jobs.

The Chiefs can clinch a playoff spot with a win and a loss or tie by the Miami Dolphins or Baltimore Ravens. In the unlikely occurrence Sunday’s game ends in a tie, Kansas City will also be postseason bound with a loss by the Dolphins or Ravens.

Elsewhere in the NFL, the Denver Broncos, New England Patriots and Indianapolis Colts can clinch AFC playoff berths.

In the NFC, the already postseason bound Seattle Seahawks can secure a division title and first-round bye with a win. The New Orleans Saints and Carolina Panthers can also clinch a postseason berth this weekend.
