LANDOVER, Md. (CBSDC) — The Washington Redskins will be without the services of three starters Monday night against the San Francisco 49ers.

Tight end Jordan Reed (concussion), fullback Darrel Young (hamstring), and defensive end Stephen Bowen (knee) will all be sidelined as Mike Shanahan’s squad looks for its fourth win of the season against the favored San Francisco 49ers.

Reed’s absence opens the door for tight end Fred Davis, who has not seen action since the Sept. 29 road win over the Oakland Raiders.

Young will be replaced by backup tight end Niles Paul at fullback. Meanwhile, Chris Baker will start in place of the injured Bowen.

Also benefiting from player absence is Josh Morgan who replaces the injured Leonard Hankerson after the latter underwent season ending surgery to repair a torn ACL and LCL suffered a week ago.
