LANHAM, Md. (CBSDC) – The Prince George’s County Police Department is offering winter coats at their headquarters for those in need, and just in time for the cold front moving through the D.C. area this weekend.
Residents can stop by the police department Saturday to pick out a free, new or gently-used coat.
Police partnered with the One Warm Coat Organization in October to begin collecting coats for the winter season. The department says they’ve received more than 400 donations.
The police department is located at 7600 Barlowe Road in Palmer Park, Md.
