WASHINGTON (CBSDC) – Wide receiver Leonard Hankerson is shutting it down for the rest of the 2013-14 regular season.

Redskins’ head coach Mike Shanahan announced Hankerson would be placed on season-ending Injured Reserve, in a press conference Wednesday, and will have subsequent LCL surgery.

As 106.7 The Fan’s Grant Paulsen points out, this is the second time Hankerson has suffered a season-ending injury around this point in the season. During his rookie year, he went out for the year with an injury in week ten.

Hankerson has 30 receptions for 375 yards and 3 touchdowns in 2013.
