Woman Stabbed to Death Outside Strip Club in NW D.C.

WASHINGTON (CBSDC) — A woman was killed and a man injured in an early morning stabbing outside a strip club in northwest Washington.
Authorities say 40-year-old Candance Reed of Northwest D.C. was found unconscious near the Macombo Lounge in the 5300 block of Georgia Avenue shortly after 2 a.m. Friday. She was taken to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.
An adult male, who has not been identified, also was taken to the hospital after suffering a stab wound to his hand.
Authorities are working to determine a motive.
The establishment was holding an event called “The 80’s Baby Bash” on Thursday night, featuring drink specials and more than 20 dancers, according to online promotional material. The event was scheduled to end at 2 a.m.
