LANHAM, Md. (CBSDC) — An arrest has been made in connection to Wednesday’s quadruple shooting in Northeast D.C.

Victor Leon Coley, 51, has been charged with four counts of assault with intent to kill, according to District police.

The investigation is ongoing and a motive has not been determined.

Officers were called to the 3800 block of Minnesota Avenue NE just after 1 p.m. for the report of a shooting outside a Payless Shoes store.

All four victims — three males and one female — were conscious and breathing when authorities arrived at the scene. Police Chief Cathy Lanier said at least two of the victims suffered serious injuries.
