RGIII ‘Not Touching’ Miami Dolphins Situation

by Chuck Carroll

ASHBURN, Va. (CBSDC) — The most talked about topic in the National Football League isn’t the sudden serious health concerns of two head coaches or the broken collarbone of Aaron Rodgers.

Perhaps Robert Griffin III wouldn’t have a problem talking about any of that.

But the Washington Redskins quarterback refuses to discuss the ongoing hazing scandal that has the Miami Dolphins at the center of the NFL universe.

“I can’t touch that one,” Griffin said when asked for his take on the alleged bullying. “Bottom line is we’re not in Miami. They have to deal with that. Their team is having to deal with that and we’ve got to deal with what we have to do up here.”

But does RGIII think a Richie Incognito-Jonathan Martin situation could happen inside the Redskins locker room?

“Like I said, I’m not touching that one, guys,” Griffin stated.

Smart move.

Some of Griffin’s teammates as well as head coach Mike Shanahan have discussed the matter.
