LANDOVER, Md. (CBSDC) — For the third straight week Fred Davis is among the Washington Redskins inactives.

The veteran tight end has not played since the team’s Sept. 29 road victory against the Oakland Raiders. The Redskins were unable to find a trade partner for Davis prior to this week’s deadline. Davis has stated he would be open to playing elsewhere.

Conversely, outside linebacker Brandon Jenkins is active for the first time since Week 3.

For San Diego, wide receiver Eddie Royal is active despite a toe injury that kept him sidelined at proactive this week. He has six touchdown receptions through the first seven games of the season.

Offensive lineman Chad Reinhart, whom the Redskins selected in the third-round of the 2008 NFL Draft, is inactive for the Chargers.
