Prince George’s Police Investigate Fatal Crash

LANHAM, Md. (CBSDC)—The Prince George’s County Police are investigating a fatal single-car crash in Clinton Tuesday night.

Police responded to the scene at 11 p.m.for reports of an overturned truck off the roadway on Schultz Road and Coventry Way.

Investigators say the driver of the truck, 46-year-old Robert Edward Farrell, was heading northbound on Schultz Road when he lost control of his vehicle. The Truck left the roadway and rolled over onto its roof.

Robert Edward Farrell, of the 9800 block, of Marlboro Pike in Upper Marlboro was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to an investigation, speed was a factor in this crash.
