Three people walked into a home in the 4200 block of Southern Avenue SE at about 2 a.m. Wednesday to find four armed and masked suspects holding five people against their will.

The suspects forced the three people into the basement and put the male victim in a separate room, where he was beaten, robbed and sexually assaulted, according to police. The two other people also were beaten by the suspects, police said.

Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the four suspects in the first-degree sexual assault and burglary.
