LANHAM, Md. (CBSDC) — D.C. police say the July death of a 7-year-old autistic boy has been ruled accidental, Channel 9 reports.
D.C. police scoured the city for nearly 36 hours before finding Michael Kingsbury’s body on the rear passenger floor of a locked vehicle less than a block from his home in the 1700 block of West Virginia Avenue NE.
The boy’s autopsy, performed shortly after he was discovered, showed no signs of foul play or trauma. However, authorities said at that time that they were still not ruling anything out.
