DENVER (CBSDC) — Fred Davis is among the Washington Redskins inactive players for the second time in as many weeks.

Davis, who has slipped behind surging rookie Jordan Reed and Logan Paulsen, is reportedly on the trading block. Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports reports the Redskins continue to seek potential trade partners for the veteran tight end. Teams have until Tuesday at 4 p.m. to make a trade.

Both Reed (hip) and Paulen (knee) were dinged up last week against the Chicago Bears, but are active in Denver.

Washington’s secondary will be missing safety Reed Doughty as they face a high-powered Denver Broncos offense led by Peyton Manning.

With Doughty left at home to nurse a concussion suffered in last week’s win, Jose Gumbs will start at strong safety.

Rookie Bacarri Rambo is active for the first time since Sept. 29 and will start at free safety in place of the suspended Brandon Meriweather.

Stephen Bowen is active a week after tearing a PCL.

Jarvis Jenkins is expected to start at left defensive end, ahead of Kedric Golston.
