RICHMOND, Va. — Terry McAuliffe’s campaign says former President Bill Clinton will join the Democratic gubernatorial candidate on a three-day campaign tour around the state.

McAuliffe’s campaign said Sunday that locations and details of the events will be announced later.

McAuliffe was a top fundraiser for both Clinton and his wife, former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton. McAuliffe later served as chairman of the Democratic National Committee.

Hillary Rodham Clinton endorsed McAuliffe on Saturday at an event in Falls Church.
