D.C. Teen Found Guilty of 2010 Murder

ROCKVILLE, Md. — A District of Columbia teenager has been found guilty of murder in Montgomery County.

A jury on Friday convicted Trenton Robinson of first-degree felony murder, armed robbery and other crimes.

The 17-year-old was charged in the December 2010 shooting of 21-year-old Doodley DeRose, of Wheaton, who was found on the kitchen floor with a gunshot wound.

Police say the shooting stemmed from a dispute and occurred after a marijuana deal.

He’s scheduled to be sentenced on January 3 and faces life in prison.
