WASHINGTON (CBSDC) – EB’s mom (Mrs. B) calling into the Junkies has been a staple of the show for years. In fact, it’s one of the few semi-regular segments you can count on for guaranteed gold 100 percent of the time.
Wednesday was no different, as Mrs. B detailed her findings as she prepared to rid her home of some old papers she’d unearthed.
From the Junkies on 106.7 The Fan:
Mrs. B: Well, you could help me decide which of these papers of yours you want to keep?
EB: I want none of them.
Lurch: Fifth grade? He doesn’t want that crap.
EB: Fifth grade, sixth grade, high school, she’s got papers.
Valdez: I’m actually cised if you bring ’em in so we can read ’em.
Mrs. B: Wouldn’t you like to see his report cards or some of his artwork?
Valdez: Oh, I’d love to.
Cakes: Oh, we would love to see his report cards.
Mrs. B: Or his poetry, you know?
EB: My poetry? I wrote poems?
Valdez: Oh, I’m even more cised for you to bring in those.
YES. Oh please God, yes.
I can’t imagine a more serendipitous revelation than the poetic musings of Eric Bickel; blissful odes penned by the bleeding heart of a young laureate.
These early creative artifacts could very well hold the key to radio success, unlocking the unquestioned blueprint to a career as a master orator.
Or they could just be a random collection of hormonal excess; the pubescent scribblings of a man predestined for a career dissecting porn on the radio.
The answer is YES, Mrs. B. We want to see all of that sh*t, respectfully.
