Md. Man Dies After Being Struck By Co-Worker’s Car
LANHAM, Md. (CBSDC) — A man who was struck in a Savage, Md., parking lot by a co-worker’s car late last week has died as a result of his injuries.
Tsung Ming Huo, 59, of Bowie, was hit early Friday while walking in the rain through the lot in the 8600 block of Larkin Road.
Howard County Police say Huo parked his car around 7:20 a.m. and was walking toward a nearby business when a Toyota Camry, driven by 39-year-old Mang Khawm Pau, of Laurel, pulled into the lot and struck him.
It is not yet clear why Pau, who called 9-1-1 to report the incident, struck Huo. Preliminary investigation shows that the cause of the incident was driver error. No charges have been filed at this time, but the investigation is ongoing.
Huo was transported via ambulance to Shock Trauma, where he died of his injuries Sunday.
Investigators are now able to announce his death publicly after locating his next of kin outside the country and making them aware of his passing.
