DALLAS (CBSDC/AP) — Washington Redskins rookie safety Bacarri Rambo continues to slide down the depth chart.
Rambo, who did not leave the field during first two games of the season, was kept on the sideline in weeks three and four. Now, the Redskins have listed him among the inactive for Sunday night’s contest against the Dallas Cowboys.
Also inactive for the first time this season is fellow rookie Chris Thompson who failed to produce in the return game. Joshua Morgan is expected to return kickoffs and punts in his absence.
Nose guard Chris Neild and rookie linebacker Brandon Jenkins, two of the primary backups on defense for the Redskins, are also out because of injury.
Neild is dealing with a calf injury and Jenkins has a sprained right ankle.
The Cowboys are without running back and returner Lance Dunbar because of a hamstring injury.
Dallas did get back receiver Miles Austin, who was in the starting lineup after missing two games because of a hamstring issue.
