Police Investigate Fatal Stabbing in Hagerstown

HAGERSTOWN, Md. — Police say an 18-year-old man has been stabbed to death in downtown Hagerstown.

Police say officers were called to the unit block of West Franklin Street about 4:30 a.m. Sunday. The officers found a large, disorderly crowd in the street and found a man suffering from stab wounds in the hallway of an apartment building.

Police say the victim was transported to a hospital where he was pronounced dead. Investigators did not immediately release the man’s name.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
