BALTIMORE — Maryland’s four casinos generated $65.3 million in total revenue for the month of September.

The Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency announced the revenues for the month on Monday.

Maryland Live! in Hanover, the state’s largest casino, made about $50.5 million. Hollywood Casino in Perryville made the next highest amount of $6.6 million for the month. Casino at Ocean Downs near Ocean City generated $5.1 million, and Rocky Gap Casino Resort made $3.1 million.

In a year-to-year comparison, excluding Rocky Gap Resort which opened in May, revenue increased by $19.3 million this September, compared to the same month last year. That’s a 45 percent increase.
