WASHINGTON (CBSDC) - Whatever you thought this post was going to be about from reading the headline, I assure you it’s not, and I’m sorry.

Caps defenseman Jack Hillen suffered a lower body injury in Washington’s 5-4 shootout victory over Calgary Thursday, falling into a heap after getting his left knee wedged between the boards and Flames defender Lance Bouma.

Hillen, who would have to be helped off the ice – the extent of his injury described by Adam Oates as, he’s “going to be out for a bit”- was quickly avenged by Tom Wilson.

As I was combing through the audio from Holden and Danny’s interview with Wilson, searching for one quote in particular about the fight, I stumbled upon a curious soundbite.

Wilson, upon being simultaneously congratulated on making the roster and welcomed to Washington, D.C. by Danny Rouhier, issued a response which I could only describe as sounding ‘cised.’

This audio clip could easily be explained away as a hurried “it’s nice to be here,” but the more I listen, the more I wonder.

Is Tom Wilson actually “cised” to be here?

Either way, he’s a butt bright young man.
