WASHINGTON — D.C. police say two men have been charged with using a stun gun to commit a robbery.
Police on Wednesday announced the arrests of 19-year-old Michael Moore and 18-year-old David Ashton. Both are from the district and are charged with robbery.
A lawyer for Moore didn’t immediately return a call seeking comment Wednesday evening.
Police say Moore, Ashton and another man approached two people early Wednesday in the 4000 block of Georgia Avenue, NW. One of the men took out a stun gun while the two others stole a pair of bicycles.
Moore and Ashton were arrested after the victims flagged down officers, but police say they’re still seeking a third suspect armed with a stun gun.
Police are trying to determine whether the men are involved in similar robberies.
