White House Releases List of Gov. Agency Contingency Plans

LANHAM, Md. (CBSDC) — The White House has compiled a comprehensive list of the contingency plans for government agencies in the event of a government shutdown.
About 800,000 federal workers, many already reeling from the effect of automatic budget cuts, could be forced off the job without pay if a budget agreement is not made before 12:01 a.m. Tuesday.
