OAKLAND (CBSDC) — The Washington Redskins will be without tight end Jordan Reed this week. The rookie suffered a thigh contusion in last weekend’s loss to the Detroit Lions.
Fred Davis is active a week after sitting out a week with an ankle injury.
Kicker Kai Forbath, who continues to nurse a groin injury, will miss his second game in as many weeks. John Potter will assume kicking duties for the second time in as many weeks.
Also inactive for the Redskins are quarterback Rex Grossman, safety Jose Gumbs, linebacker Brandon Jenkins, guard Josh LeRibeus and defensive end Phillip Merling.
The Raiders will not have Terrelle Pryor in their lineup. The quarterback was reportedly set to start Sunday, but suffered setback in his recovery from a concussion on Saturday. He suffered the head injury late in last Monday’s loss to the Denver Broncos.
Also inactive for the Raiders are strong safety Tyvon Branch, tackle Menelik Watson, offensive lineman Antoine McClain and Lucas Nix, receiver Juron Criner, and defensive end Jason Hunter.
