ASHBURN, Va. (CBSDC) — Admit it. You’ve always been a little curious to hear DeAngelo Hall cut a wrestling promo like Ric Flair.
Consider your curiosity satisfied.
What’s that you say? You actually never even thought about Hall channeling his inner ‘Nature Boy’?
That’s okay. You’re probably in line with 99.999 percent of the world’s population.
But that doesn’t mean Hall hasn’t delivered for that .001 percent of us who can’t get enough of the “limousine ridin’, jet flyin’, kiss-stealin’, wheelin’ n’ dealin’ son of a gun!”
The Washington Redskins cornerback joined teammate Adam Carriker on “4th & Pain” recently and dropped the promo right at the top of the show. A few moments later, he dipped back into the wrestling well and imitated The Rock.
It would seem since Carriker came out as a huge fan of the squared circle, many of his teammates are feeling a little less apprehensive about revealing their affinity for sports entertainment.
Last year, Robert Griffin III was featured on Monday Night RAW after being awarded a WWE title belt in the Redskins locker room.
And for the football purists, we got an opportunity to speak with Hall about facing his former team this weekend in Oakland. Hall was cut by the Raiders in 2008 after late owner Al Davis ordered wholesale changes following a dismal 2-6 start to the season. For his efforts, Hall was paid $8 million — plenty to live the ‘Nature Boy’ lifestyle.
