U.S. Navy Helicopter Crashes in Red Sea With 5 On Board

LANHAM, Md. (CBSDC) — A U.S. Navy helicopter carrying five people crashed into the Red Sea Sunday, officials say.

Three crew members have been found and are in stable condition. Aircraft and small boats continue to search for the two remaining crew members.

The crash was not due to “hostile activity,” according to the Navy.
