Lanham, Md. – The District is setting up an assistance response line for victims, witnesses and survivors of Monday’s Washington Navy Yard shooting.

Trained community-based advocates will be available to connect callers to short- and long-term victim advocacy, therapy and counseling services, according to the District of Columbia’s Office of Victim Services.

People who are seeking assistance can contact the Navy Yard Victim Assistance Response Line at 1-866-962-5048, which will be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
