WASHINGTON (CBSDC) - Former Redskins receiver Brandon Lloyd has turned in his playbook for movie scripts, according to Nick Underhill of MassLive.com.
Lloyd, who’s bounced around the NFL since departing Washington in 2007 – he’s played for the Bears, Broncos, Rams and Patriots – went unclaimed entering the 2013 NFL season, and is now slated to star in an upcoming straight-to-DVD zombie movie with Daniel Baldwin called “After Effect,” scheduled to be released on Oct. 8, according to the report.
Lloyd was cut by the Patriots in March, and reportedly turned down offers from as many as six teams to suit up this season.
He caught 74 passes for 911 yards and 4 touchdowns last season for the Patriots.]
