Four Injured in Four Shootings Overnight in D.C.

WASHINGTON (CBSDC) — At least four people were injured in four separate shootings in the District overnight Thursday, police said.
The first shooting took place just before 9 p.m. Thursday near Logan Circle. Police said a man was shot in the 1800 block of 14th Street NW and was conscious and breathing when medical personnel arrived. He was transported to a local hospital but his injuries are unknown. Police said they have no suspect information.
A second shooting took place about an hour later in the 1400 block of Jonquil Street NW. An adult male victim was conscious and breathing following the incident and was transported to a hospital, according to Channel 7. Police describe the suspect as a black male in his 20s, about 6 feet tall with a slim build and dreadlocks who is possibly driving a silver SUV with Massachusetts tags.
Police received a call for a third shooting in the 1200 block of Rock Creek Ford Road NW just after 11:30 p.m. A male juvenile was shot in the buttocks, Channel 7 reports. Police said they have no suspect information.
A fourth shooting took place early Friday morning in the 3900 block of Pennsylvania Avenue SE. An adult male was shot in the abdomen and was conscious and breathing when authorities arrived, police told Channel 7. Police said they are looking for two black males who were wearing masks during the shooting.
Police said the four shootings aren’t likely related, according to Channel 7.
