Police ID Bicyclist Fatally Struck in Woodbridge, Va.

WOODBRIDGE, Va. Police are identifying a bicyclist was struck and killed by a teenage driver in front of a high school in Woodbridge.

Police say the bicyclist is 66-year-old Joseph James Callahan of Woodbridge.

The accident occurred shortly before 3 p.m. Friday outside Hylton High School. Prince William County police say a 17-year-old girl ran her Ford Mustang off the road and onto the sidewalk, hitting the bicyclist.

Police are still investigating the crash, and no charges have been filed.

Police say the teen driver is a high school student but lives in Manassas and does not attend Hylton.
