Frager’s Hardware Store Re-Opens Paint Section After Fire

WASHINGTON — A Capitol Hill hardware store that burned in a fire in June is re-opening the paint store portion of its business.

Frager’s Hardware reopened its paint store Saturday at 1129 Pennsylvania Ave. The space used to be a restaurant and is just doors from the old store.

Frager’s is also selling plants and nursery supplies from a temporary location in Eastern Market.

The hardware store has been in business for 90 years.
